In a nutshell, what we do: We do fancy digital transformations for our clients, hurling their legacy systems into the cloud in secure and innovative ways to save them time and make them money. We consider ourselves to be connectors of software, systems and applications - when systems don't speak or need to scale up, we just make it happen. But that's the easy way to explain what we do. If we wanted to get complex, we could say that we're the DevOps and integration architecture specialists that build industry leading ESB, API and MQ solutions using proven and reliable integration tools with architectural best-practices.
We're a hands-on team of engaged and enthusiastic developers who jump on the tables over DevOps, Docker, continuous integration and mixing the best of open-source with proprietary. We're growing at the moment with clients in New Zealand, Australia and (soon to be) the UK knocking on our door.
With that, we're looking for some awesome integration architects and developers who want to work across multiple integration platforms. As a member in our team, you'll work across the full spectrum of development or architectural tasks; or staff are specialists in their chosen field, but also get exposure to the full integration lifecycle from technical analysis, roadmapping, contributing to the design of an application and system architecture, coding and quality control, and working with the testing and operations team to make sure it all sticks.
We're looking for staff that are thinkers and solution finders, who like to have a laugh and don't mind the odd NERF gun war or office cricket game.
Specifically, this is what we're looking for:
• Broad base of Java development and SDLC experience in either architectural or development roles
• Experience with Unix and/or Linux
• Integration experience across a variety of middleware technologies
• Flexible and adaptable in dealing with multiple projects and priorities
• Understanding of SOAP and REST
• Disciplined and logical approach to complex processes
• An ability to deliver quality solutions, as it's the mainstay of what we do
• Client facing and communication skills to relate across all levels from technical to senior management
We have an open and collaborative culture (we talk lots, everyone gets heard and 'micro-managing' is something we've never heard of). We're incredibly passionate about leading the industry in innovative integration systems, as well as making sure we're always learning, staying competitive and having a good time while doing it. Speaking of fun, we're all about office culture too - our people come for the work but they stay for the culture. And beer.
If you're interested in working with us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get back to you ASAP.
*Please note, all candidates must have a current New Zealand or Australian working visa and clear criminal history checks*
